The miracle of missing travel documents in Korea December 31 2008

Mission Adventures of Dr. Rose and Family

Dear friends and special prayer partners,

We are in Korea. As we landed, we were in a deep sleep and stumbled out of the plane pushed along by the crowd. It seemed something was wrong. I had a strong impression to check out my travel documents. We had walked a long ways and the impression kept getting stronger. My passport bag hangs from my neck and it was open. I could see as I walked that the tiny wallet containing bank card and sky miles platinum elite card was not there.
I stopped and searched all bags and realized it must be on the plane. At the transit desk they offered no hope except to rush back to the door while it was open and search our seats on the plane. Accustomed to seeing guards at the door preventing any return to the plane, I felt it was impossible. I asked the transfer desk agent to escort me and or call to the control officer at the door. He laughed and said he did not know any cell phone numbers to call. It was impossible.
I prayed as I left Jenny and retraced the many steps back to the plane. I was surprised to find the door not guarded. I hurried to the plane. Some new flight attendants in another color were there surprised to see me. All of them were looking anxiously at me. Perhaps they were all wanting to help me. One rushed to me with the card wallet extended. I opened to make sure it was mine, and thanked them. Tears came to my eyes for joy as I realized the cell phone number of God was working better than anything else in the airport. Jeremiah 33:3 says, call on me in the day of trouble and I will answer and show you great and mighty things which thou knowest not.
Just a few hours before, while doing email in Manilla, our friends Ed and Eloida Lachica were trying to fix some piece of equipment they use for amplifying their Bible stories and music on the streets. They have a slum watch ministry from which our contact was made with Natalie. Natalie is now doing well in learning English. She is clean and tidy. This amplifier was smoking and the shop said it was working fine. I offered to buy it from them due to short time before departing and he could get a new one for use on the streets. He agreed, so I went to find the 47 dollars. He touched it and said it was fun to touch green stuff from USA but the Holy Spirit had asked him to give it to me to use in AFRICA mission. I am sure it would be a great blessing in Shyira church. We do not yet have all funds needed for the building. They are still worshiping in the open. We want to make some more bread and sell it and more choir robes and as soon as we get another 850 for the church, we want to go to Africa and get that church done.
I am thinking God made that little machine cause concern so that I would learn about how handy it is. It is small and so powerful in broadcasting sound. It is much better than megaphone. It has its own wireless and another mic jack for the translator. I am surprised at how compact it is. I have used another one that was so large and not able to handle wireless and cost more. I had to give up transporting it on the plane for the troubles the airlines give now over carry on bags—plus the diminished number of missionaries I have going with me.
WOW!  Again God has kept His promise “MY God shall supply every need of yours according to His riches” Phil 4:19
He says He will sharpen our threshing instruments so we can bring down mountains. Is. 41
Our God is faithful to keep us supplied.
He is faithful to feed us.
  He always provides our transport.
He even blesses us with the things we “want”. Any tool that will increase our efficiency that is light weight, compact, and can be solar powered is precious to me. I wish for projector abilities off battery.
Sincerely,
Your fellow co-laborers in the Master’s Vineyard,
Dr. Rose
